Jul 10, 2014 at 1:37 | comment | added | tkp | I commented below, but FWIW not only do I not see a problem with the answer @Hrafn gave, I do see a problem with Rabbit's pushback because I consider it an unnecessary request for secrecy, thereby casting a shadow on more reasonable requests for such. If there are cultural issues at stake, its important we don't simply ignore the Western culture, which values openness and often rightly regards secrecy with suspicion. Just because some old dudes in Tibet wanted things secret doesn't necessarily mean we need to listen to them. I, for one, am not from Tibet. | |
